Details about upcoming KCLBC events and upcoming races we have entered can be found below:

September:

  • Monday 5th September – Senior Preseason Training, Tideway Scullers School – Please email kclbcrowing@gmail.com for more information
  • Wednesday 21st – Friday 23rd September – KCL Freshers Fair, Barbican Centre
  • Sunday 25th September – Senior Tryouts, Tideway Scullers School. Please come along if you have previous rowing or sculling experience to meet our senior squads and get out on the Tideway.
  • Wednesday 28th September – Fresher BBQ, Tideway Scullers School –  Come along to our BBQ by the Thames for your chance to get in a boat and try rowing, followed by our infamous evening social ending at Walkabout Temple! For more information, please join the KCLBC Fresher’s group

October:

  • TBC – Pre-tour curry night – Not one to be missed

November:

  • Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th November – Cambridge Tour – Stay tuned for details

 

December:

  • Christmas Dinner – Open to all current and alumni squad members, on Saturday 10th December. Please find more information through the Facebook Group.

January:

  • Saturday 28th January, Quintin Head – Please do come and support our three women’s crews entered into the event.

February:

  • Wednesday 1st February, 24 Hour Charity Ergathon – KCLBC will be kickstarting the annual ergathon at midday in the South Wing of St Thomas’ Hospital, raising money for the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Please come and say hello if you will be around the area, we are also going to be running a cake sale and would love for you to join us.

 

March:

  • Saturday 11th March, Women’s Eight’s Head of the River Race (WEHoRR)
  • Wednesday 15th March, London Varsity Series – KCLBC is hosting this year’s rowing Varsity against UCL and RUMS at Tideway Scullers School. Admission is free and doors will be opening to spectators at 1:30pm
  • Saturday 18th March, Kingston Head
  • Saturday 25th March, Head of the River Race (HoRR)
